Choosing your sun protection

Sun protection is the cornerstone of our anti-aging routine. Once reserved for summer and beach trips, it's gradually (and rightly so...) making its way into our daily lives.

It's now proven that the sun is the main culprit behind accelerated skin aging. UVA rays, present year-round (they even penetrate clouds and windows!), damage our skin's supporting fibers. They cause premature and, above all, very deep wrinkles. Ultraviolet rays also play a major role in the appearance of brown spots.

Beyond the purely aesthetic aspect, wearing sunscreen is also a legitimate precaution against the dangers of the sun, particularly skin cancer.

So, if you're going to wear sunscreen every day, make sure it's one you like, one that's comfortable, and one that meets your ethical and environmental standards. We'll help you choose the right one!

Sunscreens for the face

Most of these sunscreens are suitable for both daily use and beach use. All are formulated with mineral filters, i.e., inorganic filters, active against UVB and UVA rays.

Why do we only offer mineral filters? Because they have the advantage of being less controversial than some chemical (organic) filters. They are also very beneficial for sensitive skin, especially children's skin, while limiting the risk of stinging eyes (commonly criticized with conventional sunscreens).

Whether you prefer your SPF treatment liquid or creamy, matte or satin, tinted or invisible: you're sure to find what you're looking for in our "clean" section!

I want a matte finish

Imperceptible, it gradually improves the appearance of the skin thanks to its corrective action on traces of hyperpigmentation.

Ideal for: normal, combination or oily skin.

The +: its proven effectiveness in preventing the signs of aging.

I want a glowy finish

It contains exclusive anti-aging technology that boosts the skin's antioxidant defenses with a comfortable fluid texture.

I want a tinted sunscreen

Hybrid products with SPF for the face

These aren't sunscreens per se: they're cosmetics that incorporate SPF protection. They don't offer the same adhesion to the skin, meaning they don't have the ability of traditional sunscreen to form a tenacious protective film on the face. However, they are welcome additions to a routine to optimize your UV protection.

Our advice: These products are not a substitute for sunscreen. Since these products are often makeup-like, we recommend applying them over regular sunscreen.

In day cream version

This tinted day cream evens out the complexion with transparency, providing light, breathable coverage for a “beautiful skin” effect.

Ideal for: all skin types and skin tones (multiple shades).

The +: silicone-free.

In foundation base version

Its universal golden pigmentation awakens the radiance of all skin tones and evens out the complexion with a velvety effect.

Ideal for: Skin prone to redness and enlarged pores.

In powder foundation version

In liquid foundation version

Ideal for: all skin types (non-comedogenic formula).

The +: its wide range of light and dark shades with cool, neutral or warm undertones.

Sunscreens for the body

They're not just for the beach. When the warmer weather returns, we willingly uncover ourselves to welcome the sun's rays onto our skin. Our décolleté is particularly exposed and vulnerable. This is why it can develop premature wrinkles or pigment spots if it's not properly protected. Not to mention sunburn and other risks fueled by UV rays. Of course, all areas of the body are affected!

Our tip: Apply your sunscreen before putting on your clothes and let it soak in for a good ten minutes before putting them on to avoid staining. Don't hesitate to also apply a dusting of powder to the points where your skin and fabric come into contact.

I want an SPF treatment that can be used on my children

Tested under dermatological and pediatric control, it is water and perspiration resistant for 40 minutes.

Ideal for: active and sporty families.

I want a sunscreen that enhances my tan

Enriched with fine mineral flakes and invigorating caffeine, it visibly protects and illuminates the body's skin.

Ideal for: dull complexions and devitalized skin.

The +: its super creamy texture that doesn't run.

After exposure: focus on after-sun care

What could be more enjoyable than finishing a (reasonable 😉) tanning session with an after-sun treatment? Far from being a simple moisturizer, this type of product refreshes and soothes skin heated by UV rays while limiting the damage induced by the "boom" of free radicals. It thus helps prevent the appearance of post-exposure redness and stimulates the skin's natural repair process. Really, it would be a shame to do without it.
