4 “comfort food” recipes to do you good

What if we started the year by pleasing our taste buds? 👨‍🍳 Chef Happy Officine has concocted 4 comforting recipes that are very easy to make at home. Their secret ingredient: a food supplement or a beverage, just to discover new ways to consume them. We bet you hadn't yet thought about tasting them like this. 😉 Get inspired and enjoy your meal!

#1 Vegetable tiramisù with orange blossom

A delicately floral variation of the sweetest Italian dessert! Here, the egg and mascarpone cream is replaced by a protein powder mixture, which provides consistency. For those with a sweet tooth, swap the traditional spoon biscuits for vegan speculoos.

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl of liquid coffee.
  • 1 to 2 tbsp orange blossom water.
  • 250 mL coconut yogurt.
  • 2 measuring spoons of Aime orange blossom protein powder .
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup.
  • 80 g cashews.
  • Vegan spoon biscuits (homemade or ready-made).
  • Raw cocoa powder (to sprinkle).
  • Slivered almonds (to sprinkle).

Preparation

  • 1. Prepare your bowl of liquid coffee so that it has time to cool before use. Once warm, add the orange blossom water and stir well.
  • 2. Dip the cashew nuts in a pan of water. Let boil for 15 minutes before draining.
  • 3. Place cashews, coconut yogurt, protein powder and agave syrup in a blender. Mix until you obtain a smooth cream.
  • 4. Quickly soak your biscuits in orange blossom flavored coffee. Arrange them at the bottom of a dish.
  • 5. Cover with half of the cream, then add a new layer of biscuits, the rest of the cream and a final layer of biscuits.
  • 6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Sprinkle with cocoa and flaked almonds before serving.

#2 Raw matcha & coconut bites

This raw recipe (without cooking) has the advantage of preserving the properties of collagen, which can be altered with heat. These bites are an excellent snack, very energizing thanks to the presence of dates (which also allows you to do without sugar). Ideal after a sports session!

Ingredients

  • 80 g pitted dates.
  • 60 g roasted almonds then reduced to powder.
  • 1 tsp Aime matcha glow Collagen powder.
  • 1 tsp orange blossom water.
  • Grated coconut.

Preparation

  • 1. Chop the dates very finely, then place them in a bowl.
  • 2. Add the almond powder, matcha glow collagen and orange blossom water. Knead with your fingertips until you obtain a sticky dough.
  • 3. Form around ten balls by rolling spoonfuls of dough between your palms.
  • 4. Finish by rolling each ball in a base of grated coconut.
  • 5. Store your balls in an airtight container.

#3 Gourmet spicy pear porridge

Chais can be consumed in multiple ways! For example, they are excellent allies for flavoring your preparations and giving them a refined twist. The proof with this spicy porridge recipe which combines several seasonal delights, perfect for a winter breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 200 mL vegetable milk (almond, oat, rice, depending on your preferences).
  • 50 g oat flakes.
  • 1 tsp L’Infuseur organic Christmas chai.
  • 1 tsp + 1 tsp honey.
  • 1/2 pear.
  • Cinnamon (to sprinkle).
  • Crushed almonds OR hazelnuts.

Preparation

  • 1. Wash your pear, cut it in half, remove the core and place it on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
  • 2. Garnish with crushed almonds, the teaspoon of honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • 3. Bake for around 20 minutes at 180°C to roast the fruit.
  • 4. Meanwhile, place the vegetable milk in a saucepan and bring it to 95°C.
  • 5. Add the Christmas chai and leave to infuse for 4 minutes before filtering.
  • 6. Return the flavored milk to the heat, dilute the last spoonful of honey and add the oatmeal.
  • 7. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring regularly (especially at the end of cooking) until you obtain a thick and creamy consistency.
  • 8. Pour the resulting mixture into a bowl and place your roasted pear quarters on top.

#4 Almond-Cinnamon Whipped Coffee

So easy to make, and so good! If your morning coffee is boring you, try this light as a cloud version. We used So Mush Organic Energy Boost soluble coffee (for its delicious and tangy flavor), but you can use any coffee from the brand.

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet Energy Boost So Mush Organic organic instant coffee.
  • 1 tbsp sugar.
  • 1 tbsp hot water.
  • 1 glass of almond milk.
  • Almond extract (to taste).
  • Cinnamon powder (to taste).
  • Ice cubes.

Preparation

  • 1. Place the coffee, sugar, cinnamon and water in a small mixing bowl. Whip with a mini electric mixer until foamy but firm (your mixture should form a bird's beak when the whisk is removed).
  • 2. Pour the almond milk into a tall glass and add the almond extract. Mix with a spoon. Adjust the dosage according to your preferences.
  • 3. Place as many ice cubes as desired in your glass of plant-based milk.
  • 4. Top with your coffee “foam”.
  • 5. Finish by sprinkling with cinnamon to decorate.
  • 6. Enjoy quickly.
